How to Get a Job When You’re Autistic

Why did we create this course?

Getting a job can be uniquely challenging when you’re autistic.  Before we can even ask for accommodations, we have to navigate the intense social needs involved with creating resumes, finding potential positions, and going to interviews.

It’s a lot!

And on the other side of those efforts is often a heap of rejection.

I’ve been disabled my whole life.  I’ve worked in food service, retail, and hospitality, as well as freelancing in marketing, writing, and fiber arts.  I know first hand that resources like career centers and Voc Rehab, while useful for many things, are not equipped to deal with our needs.

I’ve had to figure out how to have a sustainable career as an autistic adult, and I had to piece this information together while people told me my needs weren’t real. There was a lot of bruising on that path and I’d like to help you avoid some of those traps.

So I’ve put together a course on finding a job that meets your needs.  I’ll walk you through everything from identifying your ideal job to preparing for the interview and beyond.

95% of the students who completed the course said they would highly recommend it to other autistic friends
